Pizza Pizza Pizza
Join fellow chapter members and our stakeholders on a Friday evening as we roll up our shirtsleeves together at St. Vincent de Paul's south Phoenix Watkins Campus.
Our chapter volunteers may choose between making pizza, or serving pizza to families in the Watkins Campus dining room.
For volunteering, your families are welcome. Children should be 13 or older to participate in making the Pizza.

Limit of 25 volunteers for Making the Pizza, and 25 volunteers for Serving the Pizza.
To make the Pizza, show up no later than 3:15 pm.
To serve the Pizza, arrive by 4 pm.

What is the link between FPA of Greater Phoenix and SVDP?
The chapter actively develops relationships with Valley nonprofits capable of supporting our Vision and Mission - in this case, our public awareness efforts to extend financial literacy further into our community.
Over time, organizational relationships like this one develop continuing financial literacy training opportunities for SVDP families.
These efforts are forward thinking and future building - establishing Financial Planning as a valued and trusted Profession - one capable of transforming lives.
Pizza Fridays:
Volunteer and learn how to make handmade pizza! Friday Night Pizzas are a beloved tradition at St. Vincent de Paul; we make 150 pizzas every other Friday for guests in our family dining room. This volunteer opportunity is a great bonding activity.
Volunteer duties may include but are not limited to: rolling dough, topping the pizza, slicing and boxing the pizza, cleaning.
Family Evening Meal:
Our five dining rooms are strategically located throughout the Valley, from Mesa to El Mirage, to be easily accessible to the people who need them most. Every day, we prepare more than 4,500 nourishing meals free of charge to homeless or low-income individuals and families.
Volunteer duties include but are not limited to: room preparation, setting up tables and chairs, greeting guests, serving meals, waiting on tables, sorting / giving out essential items to guests (eg, clothing, hygiene kits, etc.), clean up (eg, mopping, taking out garbage, washing dishes, etc). Closed-toe shoes.
