Updated CFP Board Ethics Background and "Do It Yourself" helpEffective Oct 1, 2018, the CFP® Board of Standards (Board) released their own Ethics Course, replacing any/all prior ethics courses from any source. This sole, mandatory, scripted Ethics course is available for purchase from the Board by approved Continuing Education Providers. There is a CE Sponsor and Instructor Guide. When an approved Continuing Education Provider purchases annual access to the Ethics Course, they must still identify an approved instructor to deliver the course, and must comply with the mandatory course delivery elements. The course itself is copyrighted by the Board, with rules prohibiting the sharing and use of course materials even after purchasing the rights to deliver the course.
| FPA of Greater Phoenix has registered as an Ethics Program Provider with the Updated Ethics course, effective Apr 1, 2021. Certified Instructor: Standard CFP Course (new codes & standards for Oct 2019, upd 2021) |
